AAO TechSelect Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the American Association of Orthodontists (“AAO”) collects, uses, and shares personal information that it receives from the users of the AAO TechSelect platform.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

Inquiry Form

AAO Members who utilize TechSelect may provide personal information to the AAO when using the Inquiry Form to request information about selected products and secure AAO TechSelect pricing.  By utilizing the Inquiry Form, the user consents to the AAO sharing the information the user has provided with those third-parties they have identified and wish to be connected with. The AAO does not store information for its own use.

AAO Tech Talk Group

AAO Members who request to join the “AAO Tech Talk” social media group may be asked by the Group’s Moderator for identifying information prior to being granted access to the Group. This information will only be used to verify that the individual requesting access is a Member of the AAO.

The AAO is not responsible for the information users choose to share on social media platforms. The AAO is not responsible for monitoring the opinions or conduct of other users of these platforms.  The AAO disclaims all warranties with regard to information posted on these platforms, whether posted by a representative of the AAO or other third party.
